Margaret Davis Preis, age 84, passed away on Sunday evening, March 20, 2011. She was born August 4, 1926 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Margaret was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. She was always a proud native of Corpus Christi, Texas where she raised her family and helped her husband run the family business, Coastal Bend Sales, for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James Robert Preis.
She is survived by her children, George (Diane) Preis of Corpus Christi, Texas, Diane (Mike) McBride of Houston, Texas, and James (Kathy) Preis of Corpus Christi, Texas. Margaret (Meme) is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jennifer Ringleb, Robert Preis, Kathryn Lusk, Kathleen Stibrich, Cassidy Allen, Jacob Preis, Merrit Preis, her six great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog and companion, Sam.
Funeral services will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00P.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011
