Mrs. Ethel Schroeter, 93, of Ewing died Sunday, July 30, 1972, in Good Samaritan Home, Quincy, Adams, Illinois.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p m in Ball-Coder Funeral Home in Ewing. The Rev Virgil Graves will officiate. Burial will be in Lewistown Cemetery.
Mrs Schroeter was born Oct 13, 1878, in Argola Missouri, a daughter of Rees and Carolyn Rhoades Jones. She attended the Christian Church and was a member of the Oyster Prairie Grange. She married Fred W Schroeter Dec 12 1900 in Quincy. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs Jerry (Thelma) Ball of Ewing; a nephew R T Jones of Waukegan Illinois; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
