Mrs. Arzetta Ellen Barker, 61, died today at the home of Nathan Mentzer, east of
Bluffton, after an illness of three days. She was married in Randolph County to
Jacob Barker, who survives. She had resided in Wells County six years.
Children surviving are Miss Ruth Barker of Fort Wayne; Miss Hazel Barker of New
York; Mrs. Louise Markley and Harlan J. Barker of Wells County and Charles
Barker, of Dunkirk. The stepmother, Mrs. Alice Augbourn, and a half-sister, Mrs.
Gazell Wright, reside at Farmland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday at the home of a son, Harlan J.
Barker, near Six Mile.
