Earl Ohnmeiss was an only child of Paul John (aka Jonathan) Ohnmeiss and Kathryn (Miller) Ohnmeiss. After Earl's mother died, his father married Frida Campbell. It is reported that Earl did not fit in with the new stepmother and came to live with John Henry "Jack" Ohnmeiss and Jack's mother, Susan (Senn) Ohnmeiss for a period of time. Earl was living at 1525 Franklin Street when he died Thursday at home. His age was 65 years, 8 months, 14 days. He and his wife, the former Doris J. Sechler, observed their 46th wedding anniversary August 19th. He was manager of Ohnmeiss Apartments. He was employed by Trimtex for 38 years, retiring in 1985 as supervisor. He was a member of the Republican League, Knights of Columbus and Sycamore and Tri Town Bridge clubs. He attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Jeffrey E.
