Rev. Albert Henry, pastor of the Rittman Church of God, officiated for funeral services conducted at the Fredrick Funeral Home Monday, for Damon C. Hall, 71, who died suddenly Sunday, August 17, at the Mennonite Old Peoples Home South of Rittman. Services were delayed pending word from a son, Harold Hall, who with his family was touring the southern states.
Hall, a retired railroad engineer, is survived by two sons, Harold of Rittman and Orrville, of Bellfonte, Pa., a step-daughter, Mrs Vivian Averill of Girard, Pa., two brothers, Orrville of California and Paul of Altoona, Pa., and two sister, Mrs. Max Dunmire of Altoona, and Mrs. Mart Swank of Newry, Pa. His wife preceded him in death in 1926. Interment was made in Rittman cemetery.
