DUNCAN: Graveside services for Charles H. Boswell were held Sunday, March 15 at the Sheldon Cemetery. Rev. Roy Bennett officiated at the 2:00 p.m. services.
Mr. Boswell, 81, passed away Thursday, March 12 at his home north of Duncan.
A life-long farmer, Mr. Boswell was born at Lexington, Texas. In 1919 he homesteaded a farm at Spur Lake, N.M., and in 1959 he bought a farm at Duncan, Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one son, Charles H. Boswell, who is serving with the armed forces in Korea; three step-sons, Ira E. Weaver of Scottsdale; Leonard L. Weaver of Globe; William E. Weaver of San Manuel; one brother and two sisters, all out of state; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Charles Harrison, C.M. Hill, Bill Hill, Leonard Weaver, Ira Weaver and William Weaver.
Lewallen's Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
