Alice Marie Pulvermacher, age 80, of Princeton, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She lived with dignity and grace. Alice was born on August 18, 1930 in the Town of Springfield, WI a daughter of Matt and Clara (Lenerz) Meffert Jr. She married Norman Pulvermacher on June 12, 1951. Together they started Pulvermacher Enterprises in 1954. Alice enjoyed quilting, spending time with family and friends and was very active in her church.

She is survived by her 15 children, Denis (Melodie) Pulvermacher, Jean (Guy) Liedke, Neal (Joan) Pulvermacher, Glen (Kim) Pulvermacher, Ruth (Dan) Dzemske, David (Vicki) Pulvermacher, Donna (Jeff) Bailey, Lois Pulvermacher, Carl (Lisa) Pulvermacher, Alice (Phil) Walters, Ernest (Naomi) Pulvermacher, Dale (Carla) Pulvermacher, Doris (Eric) Spooner, Sharon (Keith) Davisson, Kurt (Jeanne) Pulvermacher; 38 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Clara Meffert Jr.; husband, Norman Pulvermacher; 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Katrina; 5 sisters and a brother.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 25, with a Prayer Service starting at 4:00 p.m., immediately followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton. A Mass of Christian Burial for Alice Marie Pulvermacher will take place on Saturday, March 26, at 10:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at the church with Father Dale Grubba and Father Philip Krogman officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
