Marjorie Adcock, 68, of Ardmore, AL, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Dale Mitchell, Wheeler Kidd and Roger Berry officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery with Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Adcock was born in Toney, AL, on July 6, 1933, to Atha Lee and Annie Williams Jones. She was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church and retired from Automatic Electric after 17 ½ years. She also worked at McDonald's in Ardmore as a biscuit maker. Mrs. Adcock enjoyed sewing, cooking and bowling.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert Adcock, Sr. of Ardmore, AL; one son, Robert Harold Adcock, Jr. of Ardmore, AL; two daughters, Charlotte Stevenson and Kathy Mitchell both of Ardmore, AL; three brothers, Bruce Jones of Huntsville, AL, Marvin Jones of Ardmore, AL, and Elmer Jones of Elkmont, AL; five sisters, Mary Broadway of Toney, AL, Betty Lee of Taft, TN, Dorothy Smith of Hazel Green, AL, Katie Crawford of Huntsville, AL, and Odell Wilbanks of Blanche, TN; four grandchildren, Eric Clines, Jennifer Mitchell, Kevin Mitchell and Robert Harold Adcock III; two step-grandchildren, Paige Stevenson and Tanner Stevenson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Gary Lee, Eddie Clines, Glen Smith, Bruce Eugene Jones Jr., Robert Tidwell and Donald Smith.
