Funeral Services for Mrs. Rheo Dawson
---Mrs. Ethel Dawson, 64, wife of Rheo Dawson of Homer township passed away Saturday noon at her home in the Fisher district, southeast of Homer.
---She was born in Boyne City on July 10, 1901, the daughter of Adam and Linda (Aldrich) Avery. She has been a resident of the Homer area for 59 years. n[sic] Jan. 21, 1920 she was married to Rheo Dawson.
---Mrs. Dawson was a member of the Willing Workers society and the Farm Bureau discussion group.
---Surviving besides her husband, Rheo, are two sons, Robert Dawson of Homer and Neil Dawson of Hanover; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Viola) Henshaw of Homer and Mrs. Charles (Florine) Lutz of Marshall; three brothers, Melvin and Arthur Avery of Homer, and Alfred Avery of Litchfield.
---Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Murdock funeral home in Concord, with the Rev. B. L. Helmke of Homer officiating. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Homer.
