David Wright Armstrong died of consumption, age 74, lived in Stillwater since 1857, with a few years in Hudson, WI. Engaged in banking business for several years and later in the commission business. Active in Odd Fellows. 2nd marriage to Lucy C. Loder. Two daughters, Mrs. S. J. Morgan and Miss Flora B. Armstrong, also a son by first wife, Harvey D. Armstrong. Funeral at Congregational Church. Revs. C. A. Cressy and J. H. Albert.
Note: First marriage was to Lucy Hale in 21 August 1842. Lucy was born 7 February 1821 in NY, died 15 October 1853 in Ohio of consumption. David and Lucy Hale Armstrong were the parents of Edward H. Armstrong (1844-1863), Harvey David Armstrong (1845-1897), Sarah Jane Armstrong (1847-1877), and Samuel Hale Armstrong (1850-1853).
