Stuart M. Bliwas, 67, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011, in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was born on July 23, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Isadore and Genavie (Hecht) Bliwas.

He was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an attorney.

He was a member of the Jewish Community Center, and AIPAC (American Israel Political Action Committee).

He enjoyed motorcycling, watching the History Channel, and had a keen interest in Israel. He was the widower of Signe Bliwas.

Surviving is a daughter Aviv S. Bliwas of Harrisburg; a sister Carol Caplan of Pittsburgh; two nephews, Alan Caplan and Eric Caplan; and a niece Marla Caplan.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011, in the Beth El Temple Cemetery Chapel, 1100 South Progress Ave. Harrisburg, PA.

Burial will be in Beth El Temple Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the HETRICK-
