Mildred Bernita Jones was born on March 16, 1905 to Carlton Barrett & Myrtilla ENO Jones, in Michigan. By the time she was five the family had moved to Seattle Washington.
It was in Washington that Bernita met James Robert Bond, she married him in 1924. Together they had six children. Bernita lived in Michigan, Washington and Oregon.
Bernita was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter. Survivors include her sons; Bud of Vancouver, Washington, Kenny of Riddle, Oregon, Bill of Eugene, Oregon and Ronnie of Oregon. One daughter; Carol of Winston, Oregon and 18 grandchildren.
