Mrs. David Crook died in March 1944 at the age of 94. She was born in Binghampton, New York on August 22nd, 1849 to James and Fanny Woodcock. She came to this vicinity at the close of the Civil War in which her father was killed. She is survived by two children: Bert Crook of Beaver Dam and Mrs. Fred Bremer of Rosendale Township. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Interment at Green Lake Center Cemetery officiated by Reverand W. Perry Hulen.
