Raymond Lee Sigman, husband of Gertrude Sigman and son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sigman of Elk Creek, Mo. entered service in the U.S. Navy February 15, 1945 at Great Lakes, Ill. where he is now taking his boot training. His complete address is Raymond Lee Sigman A.S. C. 235 U.S.N. T.C. Great Lakes, Ill.

Raymond L. Sigman was born to Lawrence and Ethel Sigman on June 24, 1926 at Elk Creek, Missouri. He passed away at Tuscon Medical Center in Arizona on December 28, 1989 at age 63. He was united in marriage to Gertrude Cunningham on May 29, 1944. Three children were born to this union. He spent several years in the Elk Creek and Cabool area. In 1956 he moved his family to Ajo Arizona, where he spent the remainder of his life. In July 1970 he was married to Irma Craig. Surviving are his wife, Irma, of the home; one son, Gary of Phoenix; two daughters, Connie Mason of Ajo and Brenda Wilson of Phoenix; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three step children Joe Craig of Mesquite, Texas; Carol Decker of Morenci, Arizona and Jack Craig of Phoenix; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sigman, Elk Creek; three brothers, Delmar of Willow Springs, and Jim and Elmer of Cabool; four sisters, Anna Hutson of Mtn. Grove, Clara Scheets of Houston and Mabel Hoar and Virginia Stogsdill of Elk Creek. He was preceded by his first wife, Gertrude. Services were January 2, 1990 at Ajo Heights Baptist Church in Ajo, Arizona. Burial was in Ajo Cemetery with graveside honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3578
