Oren H Lippitt, 84, a Baraboo resident for most of his life, died Sunday in a Black Earth nursing home. Mr Lippitt was a retired conductor for the North Western railroad He was a member of F and EM Royal Arch chapter and a past master of the Baraboo Masonic Lodge. Surviving are two sons Howard C of Melrose Park, Ill. and Harvey of Portage, a daughter Mrs. William H. Baxter of Middleton, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mr Lippitt's wife Bertha died in 1955. Masonic services will be held at 8 pm Tuesday in the Scheible funeral home There will be no visitation.
