Mrs. William Voss, 81, a former resident of the town of Meeme, died early today at St. Nicholas hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
Nee Emma Schwalenberg, the deceased was born June 8, 1869, in Manitowoc county and was married to William Voss on March 5, 1889. The couple resided on a farm in the town of Meeme until Mr. Voss' death on June 28, 1937.For the past 13 years Mrs. Voss had been making her home with her children.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Edward Dickmann of Kiel, Mrs. Otto Kohlberg of Sheboygan, and Mrs. John Kaun and Mrs. Ernest Anderson of Milwaukee; andseven sons, William of Millhome, Arvin and Henry of Milwaukee, Herbert of Farmington, Wis., Edgar of Sheboygan, Arthur of the town of Meeme, and Raymond of Cleveland.
She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Voss of the town of Meeme, Mrs. Ida Arnold of Kiel and Mrs. Herman Zill of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Evangelical and Reformed church near Ada. The Rev. W. C. Koehler, pastor, will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, from Monday noon until 11 a.m. Tuesday, and at the church from Tuesday noon until the time of the services.
