Mildred Fife Beck, age 100, died Monday in the Windsor Medical Center after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Harry E. Fife and Ann Reed Fife and birth daughter of the late Paul R. Pollock and Ida May Pollock. Mildred was a life resident of Canton, a 1928 McKinley High School graduate, and had attended the College of Wooster. She had worked for her father at the Harry E. Fife Insurance Agency from 1929-1951. Mildred was an 89 year member of Christ Presbyterian Church, a past member of the Margaret Shipley Child Health Care Board, a Past President of the former Visiting Nurse Society Board of Central Stark County from 1958-1960, 62 year member of the Canton Woman's Club, 80 year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Canton Chapter NSDAR, the Canton Preservation Society, and the Stark County Historical Society. Preceded in death by her husband, Canton Attorney, Robert E. Beck; daughter, Margaret Ann Beck Stoica; sister, Pauline M. Zimmerman; two brothers, Frederick Robert Pollock and Dale H. Pollock; great-niece, Kimberly Wallace; and great- great-niece, Adelaide S. Obermiller.

Birth mother Ida May Pollock [174885629] died in 1915 and is interred at Valley Chapel Cemetery in Canton Township Stark County Ohio. Birth father Paul R Pollock [97877429] died in 1966 and is interred at Liberty Cemetery in Minerva Stark County Ohio.
