Baldwin organized the law firm of Crowell & Baldwin in 1908; He served as secretary Workingmen’s Collateral Loan Co.; director of American Fabric & Belting Co.; member of Nisi Prius Club; trustee of Cleveland Federation for Charity and Philanthropy; secretary of Legal Aid Society; member of Executive Board Civic League’ of Cleveland Municipal Association; and was director of City Club.
His favorite recreations were Horseback Riding and Tennis.
