Edward Burrell
Edward Eugene Burrell, 69, of Lakehead, Calif., formerly of Burlington, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at his home.
Born Feb. 13, 1942, in Burlington, he was the son of Clinton Eugene and Helen Marie Remaly Burrell.
Mr. Burrell served in the Navy.
Survivors include his mother of Burlington; one sister, Dorothy Mears of Burlington; three brothers, Lucky Burrell of Middletown, Ray Burrell of Burlington and Jay Burrell of Danville; two children, Derrick and Sheryl, both of California; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mr. Burrell's mother, 832 Shields St., Burlington. The body has been cremated.
