---Penny, was a rescue dog. Just like my dog Whisper. I don't know how old she was, but she was with us for nine years. She was a Chow/Shepherd mixed. I called her my little chow-chow.
One day I went out to feed Penny and I noticed she had some white film on both of her eyes. I took her to the vet and he said she had glaucoma. He put her on some pills to see if they would help.
I went out to give Penny her pill, and I noticed she had one of her eyes bleeding. Took her back to the vet, he said her eyes were not getting any better, and Penny was blind.
So that day we let her cross the Rainbow Bridge.
