PICAYUNE — Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Life Worship Center for Danny Ray Coleman, 62, of Picayune who passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Slidell, La.
Burial will be in McNeill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Allen Hickman will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Joseph Kiley and Bro. Bill Davidson.
A native of Picayune, he was a member of Resurrection Life Worship Center and was a member of Solid Rock Church for 25 years. He was a wonderful, caring, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone and who will be truly missed. Danny had a servant's heart and was a servant to the Master.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel E. Coleman and Auville Vincent Coleman, and his sister, Jenny Johansen.
Survivors include: his wife of 38 years, Lynda Lumpkin Coleman of Picayune; his children, Jennifer and Darrin McLain of Picayune, Stacie and Travis Smith of Carriere and John and Cherece Coleman of McNeill; his grandchildren, Chelsy McLain, Ashlyn Smith, Jody Smith, Brylee Smith, Kalob Coleman and Emma Coleman; his brother, Michael Coleman of McNeill; and his sister, Velma Moon of Baton Rouge, La.
