Henry F. Adams, retired farmer, died at his home at Adam's Hotel, Perry Township, of apoplexy, aged 79 years, 2 months, and 22 days.

He was the son of the late Henry and Hannah (Focht) Adam and was a native of Perry Township.

Surviving are his widow, Anna, and the following children; Amelia, wife of Washington Hartman; Wyah, wife of Joseph Henn, and Edwin, all of Perry; John C. Reading; Katie, wife of Lloyd Bechtel; Mary, wife of Charles Lesher, Reading; Sylvanus A., Elmer D., Irvin H., all at home, and 33 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Thursday, June 5, at 1:30 p.m. at the house. Further services in Zion's Church, Perry Township. Rev. W. L. Meckstroth officiating.

Interment in cemetery adjoining the church. Undertakers D. A. Burkey & Son, of Hamburg, have charge.
