Son of Henry and Milly Adams. Brother of Benjamin Franklin Adams, also buried in Pine Grove. He served with Company I 8th Louisiana Infantry during the Civil War. After the war, he married Mary E. Shaw Parks in Catahoula Parish November 28, 1867. They had no children. Mary lived until July 1, 1924. She is most likely buried beside him in an unmarked grave (D 46).

Thomas' pension application states he was born in Elba, Coffee Co. AL in 1844. He was shot in the right shoulder during the Civil War and lost the use of that arm. His widow's pension states he died at Rhinehart.
