Harry Adair was the son of James C. Adair and Josephine Fletcher. He never married. At the time of his death (age 64) he was a resident of the Capitol Hotel in Phoenix, and he died at the Maricopa County General Hospital. His died as the result of a fall in which he struck his head on March 14, 1958.. Diagnosed as a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain.
In the 1910 census of Muskogee County, OK, he is listed as 9 years old. I am inclined to accept this date as his parents were married in 1896, rather than the date from the death certificate. The census lists his father's birthplace as Georgia and his mother's as Texas. It lists Harry as the only son in the household with four sisters: Maude, Dora, Ora and Lera. The census also shows that there were a total of eight children born to Josephine with only 6 living.
