Obituary.

Mrs. J.W. Michael died Sunday morning April 19, 1914, after a long and painful illness. The funeral services were held at the family home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The service conducted by Rev. F.D. Stevick of Tonkawa.

Mrs. Michael was born in Indiana in 1861. She moved to Illinois with her parents in early childhood. She was married to J.W. Michael November 6, 1878. To them were born seven children, six of whom with their father live to mourn the loss of their mother. Mrs. W.S. Whyte of Newkirk, Mrs. Ed Ekiss of Dalton City, Illinois, Grayce, Margaret, and Jim who are at home. One son died in early childhood.

Mrs. Michael had a host of friends and received many tokens of love and respect during her sickness.

The funeral was largely attended. She united with the Methodist church in 1877. On coming to Oklahoma six years ago she united with the Presbyterian church.

The family have the sympathy of a host of friends.
