Norma Jeanette "Jean" Benois Bryan, 78, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011. She was born October 18, 1932, in Roanoke County to Sylvester William and Ida Shivley Benois. She lived in Roanoke her entire life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rocklyn J. (Rocky) Bryan; her parents; her brothers, Earl S. Benois, Edward M. Benois; sister, Inez E. Jennings; brothers, Issac A. Benois and John D. Benois Sr.; and sister, Janice L. Benois. She is survived by her son, Daniel L. (Dan) Bryan, of Roanoke; daughter, Debra E. (Debbie) Bryan, of Roanoke; sisters, Anita B. Arnold, Mildred L. Lucas, Barbara M. Guthrie, Iris M. Long, N. Sybil Downey and Patricia A. Stanley, all of Roanoke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and special family friend, Bob Broughman, of Roanoke. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville. The funeral service will be held at noon, Thursday at Rader Funeral Home with Pastor David Rochford officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home of Daleville.
