Sudden Death

The sudden death of Will W. O'Bryan at his home in Melrose Ia., Thursday evening from heart failure, came as a shock to all people of this county.
He retired as weell as usual although he had been in poor health for some ime. At ten o'clock after retiring he passed on in life before medical assistance could be called.
He was in his sixties, about all of which he had spent in the practice of law in Monroe county, and at one time he maintained an office in Albia. He was a public spirited and always have in acquiring good things in the community in which he had. He was well known thru-out Monroe county and his death removes another pioneer who weill be missed from the community and by the entire county.
The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Father McCormick at Melrose Saturday morning at 10 o'clock assisted by Rev. Father Murphy of Georgetown and Rev. Father Cullinan of Lovilla and the remains were laid to rest in the Georgetown Cemetery.
