Chester D. Wynn, age 87, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. He was born on June 23, 1913 at Hollister, OK, to Charles and Clara Belle Mattox Wynn. He married Betty S. Mason on April 22, 1999 at London, Arkansas. He was a retired Real Estate Broker, United Farm Agency Agent at Clarksville, president of Herwig Lighting Company, and former owner of the Peach Farm on Crow Mountain. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary L. Wynn, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He was a member of the Constellation-Edison Park Lodge #974 in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Scottish Rite Valley Little Rock, Arkansas, Scimitar Temple of Little Rock, Central Arkansas Shrine Club of Russellville, and Russellville Chapter #505 Order of Eastern Star and attended First United Methodist Church at Russellville, AR.

Survivors include his wife, Betty S. Wynn of Russellville; one son and his wife, Donald F. and Sherry Wynn of Russellville; one grandson, Brian Wynn; one granddaughter, Tracy and Scott Savage of Russellville; two great grandchildren, Chad Savage of Russellville, Hanah Marie Savage of Russellville; two sisters, Veta Petersen of Russellville, Lorene and George Van Sickle of Campbell, California; one step son, Dennis R. and Joy Mason of Russellville; four step granddaughters, Kristi Jolly of Russellville, Amy and Valen Woodward of Houston, Kati Mason of Russellville, Jaclyn and Jason Walker of Conway; one step grandson, Jason Jolly of London. Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 29, 2001 at the Rest Haven Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Johnny McCoy and assisted by Rev. Doug Little. The body was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to the Russellville Masonic Lodge Building Fund, P.O. Box 274, Russellville, AR, 72811.
