Oliver B., aged 72 years, late of 8043 Northeast Couch Street beloved husband of Sarah Eakin, father of Mrs. Loretta Goetjen and B. O. Eakin of Grants Pass, Mrs. Viola Goetjen of Oswego, Or.; Mrs. Verna Goetjen, of Portland, Mrs. Lizzie Princehouse of Parkdale, OR,; Mrs. Stella Gault of Portland; brother of Clarence Eakin, Mrs. Emma Andrews of Eagle Point, OR; Emmett Eakin of Portland; also survived by 35 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 29 July at 2 P.M. at the Chapel of Jacobson Co. Foster road at S.E. 91st Avenue. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.

*Oliver married Sarah Jane Hiles on August 28 1881. They were married while on their way out West with a covered wagon train.
