Thompson. He also figured largely in the resort development of the region, being one of the promoters of Omena where he owned several cottages and a hotel. He was survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. Kent Wright. He is buried in the Oakwood"Cemetery from Traverse City Record Eagle of 11.23.1935
