Brewster - Lilah Anita Rehpohl, 84, Omak, died April 9 at Harmony House, Brewster. She was born Jun 17, 1906, at White, S.D. to James William and Minnie Mae (Judd) Klimes. She married Clifford Otto Rehpohl September 22, 1927 at Woonsocket, S.D. They later divorced. She lived in the mid-west until she moved to Wenatchee in 1946. She cooked at the Sunnyslope School for many years and after moving to Omak, she cooked at Camp Desautel and Emert Elementary School. She retired in 1968 and moved to Omak to be near her grandchildren. Mrs. Rehpohl was a member of the Omak Senior Citizens and Washington State Retired School Employees Association. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Charlotte Rehpohl of Marietta, Ga; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna L. and Harry Sanford of Omak; two sisters, Elva Lund of Madison, S.D. and Bernice Kickland of Chamberlain, S.D.; several grandchildren, Katie Montanez of Malott, Mark Sanford of Omak, Jean Gustafson of Selah, John P. Andrist of Omak, Kerrie Clos of Moscow, Idaho, Scott Sanford of Omak and Kim Lancaster, Omak; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Memorial service was April 15 at Precht-Harrison Chapel, Omak, with the Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Memorial are suggested to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association in Chicago, or Omak Senior Citizens Center.
