Pauline Hardt, 96, of Joliet, died at the Deaconess Hospital in Billings on Jan 21, 1994.
Pauline was born to George and Katherine Brenning on March 26, 1897, in Sheridan, WY. She married George J Hardt on Nov 11, 1920, in Laurel. They farmed in Laurel, St. Xavier and Billings before moving to the Joliet area in 1948.
She is survived by one son, Harold and his wife Betty, of Joliet; three daughters, Dorothea Knaub of Laurel, Alma Hardt of Joliet and Wilma and her husband, Edwin Tuomi of Laurel; two brothers, Eugene Walker of Bridger, Reinhold Walker of Oregon City, OR; three sisters, Ernna Auker of Seattle WA., Helen Brown of Seattle and Leona Heistand of Billings; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 25, at Smith-Cashmore Memorial Chapel in Laurel with interment in Joliet Cemetery.
