Our beautiful, much loved daughter Traci Tomte was taken from us on November 27, 2008 and has joined her beloved husband in heaven. She was born May 9, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Willard V. and Kathleen I. Bluck.

In her early years, work required the family to move to locations around the country and she was exposed to many types of people and with differing customs, which strongly influenced her later life.

The family moved back west, and in 1972, moved to Grantsville, Utah where she graduated from high school. In 1981, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she gained experience with computers and working with the public. In her mid-20s, she moved to Aurora, Colorado and began working for a prominent attorney.

She then met the love of her life, Kevin M. Tomte, and married in June 1993. Shortly thereafter, they opened a successful accounting practice which continued until Kevin’s tragic death in June 2006. During these happy years, they acquired many pets which included parrots, dogs and cats and considered them “their children. She was also a very talented artist, and worked with many mediums.

In 2007, she bought a home in Limon, Colorado where she brought her “kids and made many new friends.

She made many improvements to her home and then started a business specializing in fitness, exercise and physical rehabilitation. The business was becoming very successful when she was suddenly taken from us.

She is survived by her mom and dad, Bill and Kate Bluck; brothers Gregory W. (Lisa) and Keith C. Bluck; a niece, Allison Bluck; a nephew Alex Bluck. She is also survived by uncles David F. Bluck and Charles C. (Dinah) Rosier; a great aunt, Margaret Martin; her friend Vergil Blythe; and cousins, Patrick and Charles Rosier.

A Celebration of Traci’s Life was held at the Love Funeral Home Chapel in Limon, Colorado on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

A second celebration of life will be held in her home town of Grantsville, Utah with inurnment to follow
