BRUCE - Jason Joseph Tyler Rosamond, age 12, died Wednesday March 30, 2011 at the Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital in Memphis. He was born in Columbia, SC on July 10, 1998 to Jason and Belinda Whatley Rosamond.

He was a good brother and loved country music and laughing. Loved everyone and fought everyday to be here. He never let his illness bring him down and would always want kisses and it would have to be on the mouth.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday 4/2/2011 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with Reverend Kay Gunther officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dale Manley, Jeff Busby, David Whatley and James Whatley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Rayburn and Bradley Fletcher.

Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Carroll County.

He is survived by his Father, Jason Rosamond of Greenwood, Mother, Belinda Whatley Rosamond of Bruce, Brother, Jamie Rosamond of Lexington, SC., Sister, Bailey Nicole Eldrith of Bruce, Sister, Gemma Elizabeth Rosamond of Greenwood, Step Sister, Madison Carpenter of Greenwood, Step Sister, Tiffany Compton of Houston, Ms., Step Brother, Anthony Compton of Tunica, Maternal Grandmother, Wanda Whatley of Seale, AL., Maternal Grandfather, Donald Thrower of Seale, AL. and Paternal Grandparent, Janice Rosamond of Lexington, SC. And a host of loved ones and relatives. Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood is in charge.
