Baltimore- James S. Hill. 75, died at University Hospital in Baltimore on Sunday. (June 25) He was born in Fulton County, Pa., and was the son of Moses A. Hill; and Amanda Truax Hill.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Mock Hill; sons, Charles Hill, Mt. Joy, Pa.; James, Raymond and Franklin Hill, all of Reisterstown; daughters, Mrs. Bertha Holtry, Chambersburg, Mrs. Mary Hornbaker, Hagerstown; Miss Beatrice Hill, Baltimore; Mrs. Gertrude Taylor, Reisterstown; Mrs. Florence Hicks, Reisterstown; 33 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Brethren Church, Needmore, Pa., with the Rev. Charles Perrin officiating. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery.
