Daughter of John Michael Munz and Margaretha Hamerlin, born in Lustnau (near Tubingen), Schwarzaldkreis, Wuertenburg, Germany. Married October 12, 1842 Lustnau, Wertumburg, West Germany, to Christian Markle Sr.

However, it got stuck in the waves behind the boat and continued to follow the boat for a long time. This story was past down through Mary (Markle) Long's 3rd great granddaughter Jennie Rose.
