Married 2nd to Mrs. Eliza (Loveland)Paddleford Beidman.
Wm was a farmer by trade, self taught doctor and a southern sympathizer. Family tradition has it, he died out in west(Nebraska) and body was shipped back by train to Ft. Madison, to his daugther-in-law Amanda (Kerns) West to claim and have buried. We believe he is buried in Athens Cemetery, next to his wife Nancy. No stone or epitaph states his death.
Mayflower descendant.
