Helen E. Chando, 90, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at her home.
Her husband, Joseph Chando, Jr., died July 10, 1969. Helen last worked as a registered nurse for the Phillipsburg School District. Prior to that, she was employed by Easton Hospital, Warren Hospital, Gracedale and Ingersoll Rand. She was a 1938 graduate of Easton High School and a 1943 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing.
Services were held Friday, February 18, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Private burial in Easton Cemetery.
