Robert, 90, 792 Coventry Green, St. Marys, died 3:10 a.m., at the Golden Living Center.

He was a son to Eli and Minnie (Upp) Albright. On Apr 7, 1943, he married Clarabelle Heil, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are a son, Craig (Dottie), St. Marys; two daughters, Deb Tester Wapakoneta and Kim (Carl) Fortman, St. Marys; six grandchildren, Lori (Dale) Brown, Jeff (Marcie) Albright, Chad Tester, Nikki (Jake) Sutton, Lyndsay (Steve) Simindinger, Kylie (Scot) Miller; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale, Bluffton and William, Celina.

Deceased is a son-in-law, Thomas Tester.

He was a graduate of Spencerville High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and participated in the storming of Normandy. He retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys, where he worked for 45 years. He enjoyed going to gun shows and flea markets. In his earlier years he was a member of the Goodyear fast pitch softball team and played catcher in the fast pitch world series. He was a member of VFW Post 9289.

Funeral rites are at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, with the Rev. Steve Weatherly, officiating.
