Lena P. Mitchell Lemley, 50, of Waynesburg RD 3, died at 2:20 PM Sunday, Feb. 5, 1995, in her residence following a one-year illness.
She was born July 16, 1944, in Whiteley Township, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel Crayne Mitchell.

Mrs. Lemley lived her life in Greene County and was a member of Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Waynesburg Women of the Moose 888 for 28 years. She had held all the chairman seats and filled every office of the group at one time.

She had received degrees of the Moose Women for Academy of Friendship, College of Regents and Star Recorder.

Mrs. Lemley was a former manager of Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461.

On August 26, 1985, she married C. Ronald Lemley, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Tammi) Adamson of Waynesburg; one son, Craig Johnson of Waynesburg; three sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Margaret) Filby of Jefferson. Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Lou) Grim of Wind Ridge and Cindy Varner of Waynesburg; two brothers, C. Robert Mitchell and Sam Mitchell, both of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Amy, Jesica and Becky Adamson, and Craig and Ayrel Johnson; one stepson, Don A. Lemley of Waynesburg; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Curtis (Kay) Metcalf of Greensboro and Mrs. John (Robin) Henderson of Waynesburg; three step-granddaughters, Heidi and Brandi Henderson and Caitlin Metcalf; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents, is one stepson, C. Ronald (Ronnie) Lemley II.
