He enlisted in the Army during War of 1812 from Lincoln County, Kentucky, served for six months under Capt. William Wade in the 15th Regt., KY. Drafttd Militia, commanded by Col Gabriel Slaughter. On. 10 June 1815 he was honorably discarged.
