Mary Jean Stephenson Spray, 80, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2004, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, after an extended illness.
She was born December 10, 1923, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Reed Cook and Mary Scott Stephenson.
Mrs. Spray lived in the Girard, Ohio, area since moving from Pennsylvania in 1947.
She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Girard.
On April 13, 1946, she married George Spray, who died March 12, 1998.
Surviving are a son, J. Scott Spray of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Pamela G. Craig of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Sara Varner of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mildred Maize of Waynesburg; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters and a brother.
