Robert Lee Wokeck, 48, of Happy Valley, Oregon, passed away March 1, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon after a four-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Marishka Drozdova, who he married on March 12th, 2007, his son Sasha, his birth mother Nancy Trigueros, his father Glenn Wokeck of Bangor, Michigan. Sisters Lori Nelson, Kathy Courier, Nancy Mazzucco, Sabrina Kennealy, Maria Rodriguez, and brothers Jeffrey Trigueros, and Alex Trigueros. He is proceeded in death by his mother Beverly Wokeck. Robert was born December 18, 1962 in Muskegon, the son of Glen and Beverley Wokeck, and graduated from L.C. Mohr High School in South Haven, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy and then worked for Intel, as well as Dick Hanna Kia/Hyundai. He was a proud and very active leader and member of the recovery community. His main interests were socializing and drinking black coffee with many friends, skiing, traveling, and watching his son play hockey. A memorial service to be held at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home in Bangor, Michigan on Saturday April 2nd at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Skip Mazzucco officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Monks Cemetery, Geneva Township. Reception to follow at Bethel Baptist Church, South Haven, Michigan. Donations can be made to the Portland VA Hospital, or Gideon's, via Millers Funeral Home.
