C. D. "Dick" Alfred, 80, of 2965 Old Mill Rd., Weston passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Weston on June 28, 1930: son of the late Clarence Warder Alfred and Laura [sic: Lura] Irene (Sholes) Alfred. On October 7, 1954, he married the late Barbara Ann (McVay) Alfred
Mr. Alfred is also survived by one daughter: Debra Darlene Murray and husband Bill of Weston, four grandchildren; William Daniel Murray, Samuel Joseph Murray, Jonathan Lee Murray, & Ashley Nicole Murray, and four great grandchildren: Megan Brooke Murray, Ivan Thomas Murray, Nicholas Michael Murray, & McKenzie Jo Murray.
Mr. Alfred was a businessman, and operated Alfred Exterminating for many years in Weston. He was a Methodist by faith. He enjoyed taking great care of his lawn and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel…. Interment will follow services in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Weston with full Military Services.
