Cecil F. Cessna, 84, of Olney, died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 1992 at Richland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Zirkle Funeral Home, with Joe Eggebrecht officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday (today) from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Cessna was born Oct. 16, 1907 in Lawrence County, the son of Joseph and Ida (Reed) Cessna. He married Josephine Henry Dec. 18, 1932 in Oblong.
Mr. Cessna was employed at Pure Oil Company for 40 years, before retiring in 1967. He was a member of Elm Street Christian Church.
Mr. Cessna is survived by his wife, Josephine Cessna of Olney and one daughter, Karen Cessna of Olney.
Mr. Cessna was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Delbert and Dale Cessna and two sisters, Oma Reynolds and Fannie Gardner.
