Elvin E. Frankenfield, 71, of 2653 Woodlawn Ave., Palmer Township, died today in Easton Hospital after being stricken in his home.
He was last employed as a welder by Easton Car and Construction co. until retiring in 1977. Before that he worked as a supervisor for Air Reduction Sales Co., Hellertown.
Born in Riegelsville, Pa., he was a son of the late Robert and Catherine Ehly Frankenfield.
Mr. Frankenfield was a life member of Phillispburg Fire Co. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Jones; three duaghters, Mrs. Catherine Young, Riegesvlle; Mrs. Roberta Pasco, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Carol Wagner, Bethlehem Township; two sisters, Mrs. Leola Koons, Easton, and Beatrice Frankenfield, Columbia, N.J.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Riegelsville Union Cemetery. The Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville, is in charge of arrangements.
