Pernie Faye Johnson

Pernie Faye Johnson, of Greenville, passed away in the late evening hours of Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
She was born on October 9, 1922 in the Ozarks of Missouri to __________ and Ana Dora (__________) Luttrell, they preceded her in death.
Pernie married Harold James Johnson in Amarillo in 1974; he preceded her in death after 17 years of marriage.
Although she worked her life as a seamstress, she never really considered it work. Even in retirement she enjoyed sewing. Ms. Johnson would do whatever was needed to provide for her family, including everything from picking cotton to driving trucks. Pernie never met a stranger and would do anything to have a little fun.

Pernie is survived by two sons, Ronnie Klotz, and wife Cathy, and Miron Klotz, and wife Jo Ann, all of Lone Oak; one daughter, Carol Ann Johnson of Virginia; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Faye Klotz.

Services for Ms. Johnson will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Peters Funeral Home.
Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., Thursday afternoon at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday evening at Peters Funeral Home.
