Oobituary of Doris Anderson
Kerkhoven-Doris Anderson, 77, of Kerkhoven died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Satruday at Evangelical Free Church in Kerhoven. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Kerkhoven funeral home and at the church Saturday for one hour before the service.
She was born July 13, 1914, in Swift County to C.E. and Amanda Nelson and grew up in the Kerkhoven area, graduating from Kerkhoven High School in 1931. On March 13, 1938, she married Melvin Anderson. They farmed in the Kerkhoven area until 1966, when they moved into Kerkhoven. He preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survied by two sons, Cecil of Enid, Okla., and Ron of Walker; two daughters, Carolyn (Mrs. Leonard) Wickeraad of Willmar and Nancy (Mrs. Larry) Dwire of Kerkhoven; 17 grandchildren, one foster grandchild and 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Irene (Mrs. Russell) Hull of Park Rapids; and a brother, Vernon Nelson of Kerkhoven.
