Rose A. Clair was born in Adams County, Illinois, September 15, 1870 and died quite suddenly at her home, two and one half miles north of Brunswick, Mo. September 24, 1903. She was married to Edward Boyce, Feb. 18, 1886. She was the mother of three children, Lillie who died some years ago, George, 12 years old and the baby, Mary, 2 years old. She had for fifteen years been a faithful Christian, formerly a member of the Methodist church and later of the Seventh Day Adventist. Rev. Ward M. Baker conducted services at the family residence Friday, in the presence of many friends, and her remains were laid to rest in the McCullom (McCullough) cemetery, west of Triplett. The family have only resided for a short time in this state and wish to strongly express their appreciation of the many kindness which have been shown them.
