Katherine Jane Wise Lemley, 88, of Mannington, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1912, in Marion County, daughter of the late John Wesley and Narcissus Mason Wise. She was retired from the Marion County Board of Education as a cook for 30 years. She was the oldest member of the Metz Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons and two spouses, James and Martha Lemley, of Saint Marys, Charles Lemley, of Las Vegas, and Jack and Leona Lemley, of Metz; eight grandchildren, Rick, Robert, Michael, Allan, Patrick, Randy, Sabrina and Linda; 15 great-grandchildren, Ricky Lee, Cameron, Alex, Hunter, Rae, Jacob, Tye, Robert, Katherine, Fallon, Ryan, Matthew, Michelle Lemley, Allan and Aaron Barker; and a great-great-grandchild, Samantha Lemley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Lemley, four sisters, Ethel, Charlotte, Lydia and Margaret; and four brothers, Jack, Martin, Jim and Charlie. Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, with the Revs. Donald Thomas and Bill Coon officiating. Burial will be in Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
